Different Family

Different Family

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

You look at me

And see me different.

As of my family.

We all look different.

All children-adopted.

Parents

Different races.

We are never looked at

As an actual family.

All because we don't look like one.

Author's Note

I Am Svetlana
About my family and how we are looked upon as not a normal or "actual" family because of our races.

wow!! I like this...and you help to outline something very interesting and emotionally cruel. It's different seeing something on the outside rather from within. Really Really liked this 1!! thnx 4 sharing a bit of your experience ♥
