I wish to live free

Like the bird with its wings.

To spread them

And soar away.

I would lift myself

To the clouds.

And over the seas.

To know myself

Is to know the bird.

I am the bird.

Its wings are mine.

These wings

Make me free.

By now I've noticed a trend with your poetry....you love referring to elements of nature, whether living or nonliving. You seem to notice the beauty in it all and a freedom that should be involved with life :).....i enjoyed this one, because I think a bird is the perfect animal for you to be....it can see many things from great heights ♥
