Prisoner

Prisoner

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Sorry if I stumbled.

At least

You picked me up.

I was never confident or free.

I was always broken and trapped.

Locked up and held.

I never belonged

To anyone else.

I was scared

Because I was my own

Prisoner.

Nice poem. Breaking free from yourself is never easy.

hope you can break free I know how much it sucks to be traped by yourself.

i like the openness of the metaphors... lets the reader interpert in their own way... Nice write and I hope you find yourself free soon.. I am trying to get away too!

this is an ambigious poem..you leave it wide open for interpretation...which isn't a bad thing, the metaphors for being trapped in your own life...were well described
