Declaring My Love on Valentine's Day

Just a simple poem I wrote on Valentine's Day for the one I love

Today is Valentines day
and love is in the air
How can I show you my love
and express how much I care?

I could buy you flowers
candies and chocolates too
but with little money in my pocket
this poem will have to do

I could tell you that your love
has helped me through tough times
You've lifted my spirit
and helped my soul to shine

You've pulled me from darkness
and showed me the light
I love every second spent with you
even when we fight

Although we're different
we balance each other out
you take away my fears
and remove all my doubts

You're the Jim to my Pam
the Mitchell to my Cam ;)
We go together
like peanut butter and jam

I wouldn't have it any other way
I love you with all my soul
Without you I would be broken
for your love makes me whole

Together we are complete
and I just wanted to say
I love you very much
Happy Valentine's Day
