I wish there was a God

sorry if this causes any controversy thats not how its intended, its just my own perspective and i can't be judged for my right to an opinion ;) as usual, hope you enjoy and i dont expect feedback x

I wish there was a God. A person to watch over us and guide us. So someone could write him a message asking for help in this polluted world. To give us hope, a reason for being, a reason to live, a path in life to follow so we all had purpose.

I wish there was a way he could save us all, to stop the hurt and to cure the Earth of everything bad, to nurse it back to good health. To make the human race realise we must bring peace, joy and happiness to the lives of others around us. He could teach us to respect everything that lives, flora and fauna. Only then would the true value of life be recognised.

I wish that he would heal the wounds of people who have soldiered on through life, those who have fought long battles and are struggling to stay standing and put on a brave face for the sake of others. Those who carry scars which will remain with them for a lifetime, imprinted on their souls and on their skin. Not all scars are noticeable.

I wish that he could see that none of us are perfect, we are damaged goods but we still seek perfection. Maybe then he'd let us know beauty still exists, even in those who believe in it the least. To make us feel like we have worth and aren't just waiting for time to pass until we leave this world in hopes of another life to redeem ourselves for this one.

I wish that he would understand we are all lost souls wandering about in the vast emptiness of space, trapped on a small speck of star dust. Our eyes wide shut to the world around us, the small yet important things of everyday we forget to notice. Those things that make our lives enjoyable and happy, even if only for a moment. As simple as a ray of warm sunshine against your face or the sound of rain on the roof.

I wish he existed. To bring us a life so valuable that we all wanted to make the most of every second, to bring everyone together in a harmonious and colourful world with no sadness or pain. Only an empire of love.

Oh how i wish there was a God.

I just read this piece and i believe that you're a great writer...May be An Author I think. I was reading this piece from my eyes but feeling your words from my heart indeed. You know what dearest one, I was probably today planning to write one blog to my Magazine... but enable to decide what to write on.
