Suicide

Suicide

A Story by ℰmerald ⚓

strong truth...

"
Suicide, it is much deeper than the "mean girls" it's what happens outside of school too. If your parents tease you, yell and swear at you for no reason, your abused, you feel like everybody hates you no matter what you do to try and make the ones you love the most care about you in return. Sometimes it just isn't possible, sometimes you can't get what you want, sometimes you won't be loved by the ones you love. For some people the wish for their life to end because of a harsh brake up or somebody at school is bullying them or their always getting in street fights and are too close to death everyday. There are people who actually hope when the fall asleep at night that they won't wake up in the morning because their life is so bad they want to be in Paradise. Some people hope every breath they take is their last that that will be their last moment, they simply wouldn't care if they completed their life goal they just want it all to stop. Suicide isn't couardly what's couardly is that somebody treated them so badly they wished for their life to end. Yes, nobody's perfect but some of us could save a life but just not opening their mouth to somebody, to just say hi to somebody they don't know. Teens, kids, and adults that commit suicide actually have a reason even if it's just to see somebody actually cares about them, their life, their exsistance, their role in their life. If "that guy" that makes fun of you tells you the truth that he thinks your beautiful, then it would be one less worry in life that you hate. Sometimes it's the little things that other people don't notice that just add up and make you just so stressed, so hated, so unloved, you just want it all to stop. So you make it stop. You think your doing everybody a favor by getting rid of your life. Sometimes you think all you are is a waste of space, that everyday you rob the world of its precious air only for you breathe, you think you are so selfish for doing this. Yet your not. Everybody has a reason they came into this world. Everybody. You may be young and haven't found it yet, but there's a reason. And it's good. If you live to see the reason that your alive then good for you, you should be proud of yourself, you should be proud of what you are. Don't be proud of something your not or somebody your trying to be. Be yourself so you find the real reason you came into this world. Suicide isn't a favor, one person's death could result in many other peoples death. Because they literally can't live without you in their life. Literally, you may not think it, but you mean a lot to somebody. Whether you know it or not, whether they know it yet or not, you mean something big to somebody special. Life is beautiful, don't waste it. Have fun live everyday like it's your last, don't try and make it your last. Suicide is BIG! Don't do it no matter how rough it gets.

I Love it.... I have lost too many since I was little when it comes to suicide in my family and friends. About 29 of my 69+ friends who have died in some pretty horrific ways, have died by way of suicide, and some of those I walked in on. I think this story/paragraph that you have written on the subject is the most uplifting piece I've seen on the topic so far on the site in the last 6 months!! : ) The line: "Because they literally can't live without you in their life. Literally, you may not think it, but you mean a lot to somebody." doesn't make sense to me because there is no empathy and guilt of relationships and of the like when in those states. They had this girl named Phoebe Prince that a lot of people that I know, bullied, befriended, and knew of..... and this girl went home after school, walked upstairs to her room, and hanged herself. Had one other friend play with his kids in the yard and the next day where they took pictures with the kids the day prior, he pulled a shotgun out and blew his head all over the fence!! When I was 9 and hanging from the bridge by barbed-wire, I wasn't thinking about how long will my mom cry, and if the mailman will find out what happened, if my priest would condemn or help my family etc.... What changes ALL of that is being able to have a place to express everything you can, and to do it responsibly, and if you are young and susceptible to abuse and/or being told you are a loser by a girl you crush on in school.... stay anonymous so no one knows!! : ) Pain, sex, drug, habits, friends, experience ALL changes over time and some are impatient to find out that it takes time, and that there's a process to understand and compartmentalize things that matter none in the end. : ) Wonderful story to share... xoxo -Mark

I really liked it, I've had a lot of thought about suicide (not me) going on, and I think it's great that you're saying this.
but yeah, I think as well as talking to the people who are considering it you should talk to everyone. you see you can't just say to someone who's thinking about suicide "hey... don't do that" they have to realize for themselves that life is worth living, and they are worth love, even their own love. and I think if you address everyone and make them think about what they do, then you can stop those reasons you mentioned... so basically I loved it.

I don't post as much as I used to, I'll trash most of the songs I write because I always compare them to my favorite bands' music and it just never seems good enough. I don't think my poems and stori.. more..
