Nightmares

This poem is about the dreams I have. I'm an Insomniac, so the days I do get sleep...are not very pleasant. My Insomnia inspired me to write about my nightmares.

They play like little

Scenes, they never

Seem to disappear.

 

Over and over,

I have the same

Nightmares each

Night.

 

I'm weak and grow

Dreary. These dreams

Have caused a great

Deal of pain...

 

I dare not tell a

Soul of my visions,

For what if they

Tame to be true?

 

I can't risk

My life to

Save an image,

Yet I do anyway.

You did a fine job of writing this Emo. I wake up in the middle of the night daily and always find it hard to go back to sleep. It's usually the scariest time of night too because all the bad themes find their way into my thoughts.

You might want to fix the 5th line from the bottom. I think you meant 'came.' not Tame.
