Nesace

Nesace

A Poem by Emphyrio

In realms we cannot walk as mortals

A spirit lives midst golden air

And to her, whose shining eyes do brighten

The world for those residing there

To her these words are dedicated

To her name - a name so fair

Nesace she is called by angels

In that world of golden air

And she, the most graceful of all beings

In that golden world in which she lives

Is the loveliest

The most radiant

For the Spirit of Beauty she is

Nesace, whose features are shining

In perfect and elegant bliss

But in her eyes there are reflections

Of other places, other skies

The image of a mortal maiden

Mirrored in her brilliant eyes

And likewise in this mortal maiden

We may find Nesace’s smile

The likeness of a divine spirit

The beauty of an earthly child
