LoVe MuSiNg

LoVe MuSiNg

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

Sing with songs of rapture
You most intended beau
Leap with joy, you maidens
Your future groom will show

With charms most desiring,
You seek to draw him near
With serenades enchanting
You bellow for her ear

What is this thing called love
To which we bend and bow?
The taste of its fine fruitage
I dearly want to know

What prize is there to win?
That makes us risk the heart
To flaming misery
And chaos when we part

What is this thing called love
 None can ever master
But risk the tumbling fall
That most oft comes after

Oh. just beautiful Empress! The first thing I read this morning
and it has put joy into my heart and a leap in my step too!
I love your musings on "love".....well done!

Thank you so much for "Keeping the Dream Alive"! Albert
would have adored this one.
