My all I gave to you

My all I gave to you

A Poem by Lavery the Librettist
"

Response to munford and sons song I gave you all

"
My all I give to you

My mind is left in broken pieces,
My heart it urges for strength and comfort.
The harm iv felt, the hurt won't cease,
My tears keep flowing, there's no release.

My eyes are open now,
A straight face, no more hurt ill allow.

The truth?
You've been living a lie!
Hand in hand we've been
For so much time.

I was once blind,
In our home.
My biggest enemy was you,
Could I ever have won?

My eyes are open now,
A straight face, no more hurt ill allow.

My all I gave to you,
Everything,
My all.

You've taken everything from me,
Everything is gone.
I stand here with nothing,
Well done, you have won.

My all I gave to you,
Everything,
My all.

Awww L.L , wonderfully done in the saddened pen!!!
this was my favorite stanza
I was once blind,
In our home.
My biggest enemy was you,
Could I ever have won?

how You split the stanzas was perfect!!!
