My Greatest of Serenades

My Greatest of Serenades

A Poem by En.Ki

I watched the walls crumble

Falling down to the ground

all around I felt the tumble of my life

In sincerity we move with the breeze

flowing along this river

singing the song of our complete,

loss of words.

I saw the fallacy

the thought that no matter the circumstances

you'd be standing next to me

in the morning haze

in the moments hush

we found our way

just hold on now

we have so far to go...

sing me, the words you've meant to say

allow me to show you my greatest of serenades

Hold on

it comes our way

no more hiding in the shadows

no secret masquerade

we bared our souls

we lost our friends

with the words we shared

as if we dared

to speak our minds

I found a way to sell the world

To let it all go,

To create the words

we wish to say...

I am so glad I found you

Sing me, the words you've meant to say

allow me to show you my greatest of serenades

I love you...

I

love

you.
