... with the imagination of a child

... with the imagination of a child

A Poem by En.Ki

Can we pretend

just so I can believe again

Can we defend

So I can finally breath again

In seperation, we found our course

in desperation I chose my mark

I lost who I felt I really was

but who I am now is so much more

I've thought over this situation

I've been thinking about my life

who's in it

who's not

there seems to me to be

a tragic ending, a battle to be fought

I just hope nothing gets lost...

can we pretend

just so I can conceive again (your memory)

can we begin

to just let this s**t go... (I hope so)

sitting in this dark room

struggling to see

I seperate the faces

I keep the ones close to me

I chose this path

this was to go

I changed

we changed

all under the gun

So here I stand

wanting to be home

where you are

It seems so far

yet here we are...

Can we pretend...
