Reclaiming My Home

Reclaiming My Home

A Poem by En.Ki

I can't fight this feeling

the impression of the moments I can not forget

I won't deny the healing

I'm to a point that I can not regress

...and if I say I might

take apart this baren life

...and if I try I might

start this night over in a new light

I think I saw this coming

in the lasting song you sung

I knew that this demon

was the last thing I need and still it holds strong...

burdened by the sound of it

the leaves fall from the trees

I'm blinded by the sight of it

why did you have to leave?

sing to me the memories

recount all the scars

show your life to me

as if we were both stars

...and if I say I'll fight

then take this pain away

...and if I say I'm over

take me away...

to the day

I found you...

I wish nothing but the best

for you...

Kind of strung this together, to me it is deeper than it may seem, but I am the one with the memories. Enjoy
