Sing for me.

Sing for me.

A Poem by En.Ki

We've packed up our lives and our clothes

Stressing the fact of were we need to go

Simple thoughts brought us here

Can you sing for me one last time.

I feel nothing

it's just emptiness,

I found something

I thought was already gone...

She sat there in my memory

Flashing back to our youth

The problems seemed all but subsided

I never knew they divided you

I've wanted for so long,

For us all to get along

and be a family.

Now you seem to be higher than I can ever wish to be

Holding our hands as we survive living in your wake

trying to breath in your memory

I suffocate.

I feel nothing

It's just emptiness

I found something

I thought was already gone...

My heart.

You see I had forgotten how to bleed

For anyone but me

I'm drowning on the surface of what will be

Your memory...

Sing for me.
