My mind

My mind

A Poem by Broken Wings

In my mind everything is different
In my mind unicorns are real
Hippos say hello
Monkeys cry
Rainbows fall
And it quite cloudy

Now if you were there
Monkeys would screech
Rainbows would float
And the sun would shine

But no
You got your own mind
And I guess I'm not in that

This poem has a lot of potential, I think you could create some wonderful imagery with this if you let more imagination onto the paper. Also, on the second to last line, I'd recommend 'You have your own mind' instead of 'got' - it just reads easier I think.

I'd say this is one of those ones you could keep comming back to at a later date to see how you can change it. Unique :)
