Warmth

Warmth

A Poem by Enigmatic Otaku
"

this is my best attempt to describe how it feels to be lonesome

"

Warmth, im not talking about physical warmth, the warmth i speak of is emotional.

To me emotional warmth is the feeling you get when you are around that certain someone.

When you are embraced or accepted by that certain someone, your soul is set ablaze with a burning passion.

This warmth turns into a flame that forges a long and meaningful relationship that will be long remembered by the two.

For me there is no warmth, no one to embrace me and warm my cold soul.

I have been left in the cold tundra with little protection against the oncoming blizzard , while others live by the comforts of eachothers warmth.

My bones ache by this lack of warmth, and my core is so cold that it sickens me.

For now i will sit still and wait pateintly, for even in Antartica the sun reveals itself to the cold and forgoten plain

A very good description of being lonely. I like the use of coldness to make your point.
