Cold Fingers

Cold Fingers

A Poem by Rachel Harper
"

From temperature to disposition, one thing is for sure - this girl is cold.

"

I awoke with cold fingers

Just as they have always been,

Pale little limbs

With veins stretching beneath the skin

And I thought to myself

When the blood shall run thin

Would I be a warmer soul?

Or still just as cold then.
