Yellow Is Mellow

Yellow Is Mellow

A Poem by EpiphanyPrince (Adam)
"

Musicians need writers and writers need musicians.

"

You’re soft as a deeper thought

Shining through dirty minds

Mending bodies on weak ends

Bodies entwine.

(Chorus)

Some say yellow is mellow

But I say it’s dandelion

Mornings new design

Some say yellow is mellow

But I say it’s dandelion.

You gleam and clean all worries

Reality caught in dreams

You’re all the colours that shine

Out of a pot of gold.

(Chorus)

Some say yellow is mellow

But I say it’s dandelion

Mornings new design

Some say yellow is mellow

But I say it’s dandelion.

For you I’ll set my heart free

Standing on my soul

My single innocent memory

Your body on mine

Body to body connecting all the lives.

(Chorus)

Some say yellow is mellow

But I say it’s dandelion

Mornings new design

Some say yellow is mellow

But I say it’s dandelion.

(Bridge)

A mornings new design

Is a new sunrise

A mornings new design

Yellow as the mellow flower

Sure as a dandelion

Warm as the days of summertime.

(Chorus)

Some say yellow is mellow

But I say it’s dandelion

Mornings new design

Some say yellow is mellow

But I say it’s dandelion.

Some say yellow is mellow

Some say dandelion

A new design

Shining through dirty minds.
