A Poem by Andrea Di Martino

This morning Ray curled

Under my chin like a seed.

Did you know?

Under the seed coat is an embryo

Of a tiny plant, perfect,

Looking like a human embryo

Coiled in its mother's womb.

Nature repeats herself,

Shows us our connections.

Like between me

And Ray

Coiled like a seed

Against my heart.

A great mental excursion.

I think I'm gonna like your stuff.
