Litlle love poem

If you were just another girl
No poem would be made
No effort would be put to this
No breaking the charade

If you were just another girl
We wouldn't talk all day
We wouldn't enjoy each other
And the little things we say

If you were just another girl
I wouldn't want to keep
But there's something I see in you
Something that I feel deep

If you were just another girl
These thoughts wouldn't occur
I wouldn't wait to see your face
Or try of that I'm sure

But you aren't just another girl
That's the point I try to take
If you allow it from your heart
Who knows how long we'd make

In the end you aren't another girl
You're beautiful and deep
Despite not knowing you for long
You're someone I'd like to keep.

Cute! At first I was a little hesitant that it was going to fall into the trap of being too cliched, but I actually liked it. :) I thought that it was sweet and heartfelt, and that there was a really particular style to your writing that made what you were saying seem all the more personal and all the more real. The last stanza was the perfect way to end the piece. Nice work,
