This I Know

This is my truth, my foundation. It helps me to be who I am.

Jesus loves me.
This I know.
For the Bible
Tells me so.
My Father is here.
This I know.
I feel Him with me
Wherever I go.
I am forgiven.
This I know.
For His precious blood
Covered my soul.
Though I am unworthy
I haves been saved.
With His scarred hands
He pulled me from my grave.
He has saved my heart
Again and again.
And kept me from tripping
Right over my sins.
He is my Father.
He is my friend.
He'll never stop saving me,
Or even pretend.
So though I'm unworthy
Though I'm covered in scars
He'll never stop pulling me
Back to His heart.
Jesus has saved me.
This I know.
And he'll never stop
Saving my soul.
