The Words

I wrote this one while thinking about the way I write poems. I find it pretty much true for the way I write.

Peace. Be still.
The words tumble in a mad rush
Falling
On the page
They
Dance and tumble and
S
  L
    I
      D
         E
Giggling they rearrange
Themsleves
Fighting and screaming and
Rebelling
Against shape and form
Rhyme and reason
The epitome
Of madness
Utter chaos
Refusing to be
Still.

I can't believe I'm the first person to review this and other poem I've just reviewed. You are too good not to have been read by someone else before. This lovely and the flow and rhythm of it just work so well with the subject of words tumbling out and down a page.
