It will be alright

Wrote this while going through a hard time. It's a reminder that there is hope and things will be alright. Also note, the "you" I refer to is myself. The poem is basically a note to myself.

Drawing a smile on my face.
Covering up the tear stains on my cheeks.
Outside I'm laughing,
But inside I'm screaming.

Oh, can't you see the pain in my eyes.
I'm hiding the shattered glass,
That once was my heart
And I'm hoping that time could just freeze.

Yeah, I don't know how to feel
But it will be alright, won't it?
I've made it through some storms before,
And I know the sunshine's coming.
You and I, we'll see this through.
There's gonna be a rainbow for us.
Something beautiful to kill the pain,
To show us it's all worth it in the end.

So I'll keep on holding out hope,
Even if I'm falling apart.
I'll remember that I can count on you,
'Cause you've never let me down.
Yet, I'm crying cause life's not a fairytale.
I've seen too much go the wrong way.
It breaks me down all the time,
But I still believe in happy endings
So I'll keep fighting for you.
