Silly Bear

Silly Bear

A Poem by Tessa Le Rouge
"

inspired by Lullabye-Fall Out boy

"

crashing is waves, silly bear.
besides, there's tons of sea for you to swim.
when you come out of the water you will see,
that the world will be a better place.

when you take your first breath,
don't be a afraid to yawn.
when you take your first breath,
don't be afraid to breathe on.

falling is for leaves, silly bear.
besides, there's tons of trees everywhere.
when you climb to the top you will see,
that the world will be a better place.

when you make it up,
don't be afraid to look down.
when you make it up,
be brave and run with the clouds.

Dreaming is for life, silly bear.
besides, the day would be lost without them.
when you open your eyes you will see,
that the world will be a better place.

when you dream on,
impossible is impossible.
when you dream on,
the stars are obtainable.

Lovely piece. Is the subject "Silly Bear." Actual or just a cliche? I like your style, and your choice of words. It has a childish feel for some reason, like the song...."I hope you dance." Not sure if that was your intent...but it's what I felt.
