I told you i would be your light in the dark
now just a withered flame
now its just reduced to a spark
and they say I'm the one to blame

countless times Ive left my self open
how foolish i was just to believe
that you would'nt leave me crippled and broken
that you wouldn't take what you want and leave

I love the use of rhyme here, and the flow is great. However, there's something about the 'take what you want' part in the last line that I don't really like. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but I think it's the materialisticness of it.
