My Hands

My Hands

A Poem by EverEmma

My Hands   By: Emma Anderson 6/22/11

Hands

How I love you so

You take my heart beyond the skin

And my warmth to others

You provide physical closeness

When words are not spoken

You offer gentle salutations from afar

And a lifeline when lost in the dark

How I love you so

You allow me to express my deepest thoughts

And most frightening moments on paper

You let me hide when I just can’t look

You make tears disappear

You hide pained glances

And release fury

You represent freedom

And a language of your own

How I love you so

Ahh! Colourful words!!!~

I dont know what it is, but all of your poems are so...original. It's like...wow. I dont know what to say. I felt very warm and cozy while reading, but I also had a sort of eerie fear. Again, I dont know what it is, but you sure know how to write.
