Really like the expression in stanza two. Reflections of the past. Maybe after time we can look back with kinder thoughts. Breakups are unpleasant. Perhaps with the passing of the years we forget some of the pain and remember more the good things. I enjoyed your chosen music Freds. Nice on both counts.

I'm assuming this is about how life passes on in cycles and how the individual deals with it all, be it old, young etc etc... But that's just one thought.

such a good poem and now reviews?
shame.
I think kindness tends to mature at a much older age these days.
We have to live, learn and accept...
and then realize how we have been and what we need to be.
