Dear passerby,
Where are you headed today?
How many people did you pass on your way?
I hope you have good fortune on this bright sunny day.

Sir, your coffee smells lovely...
I wonder what your favorite flavor is,
Your favorite color, Your favorite song..
I know we all have one.
If I knew it, I'd probably sing along...

I like your dress today, Miss.
Do you love how it feels?
Twirling and swirling,
How it sways in the wind...
Did you pick this out of a bunch?
Did it take you forever to find "The perfect one"?
Either way, looks great,
Have a wonderful day.

Hey there, kid,
What are you up to today?
Did you find a crew of friends to go out and play?
Are they skating, running, biking, skipping, singing on their way?
Or maybe there will be no playing today...
Just homework and chores that got in your way.
Whatever happens will happen,
Try and stay bright today.

Each person has a story,
A circle, a mission...
Listen if you can,
Ask questions when fitting...
With this many people all around,
Who knows what you'd hear in just one sitting.
