Lighting in the Distance

Lighting in the Distance

A Poem by ExposedSiren
"

At what point is it my fault, and at what point should I change?

"
I blame myself, for feeling so insecure.

When I looked within,
I once saw light,
saw darkness in corners,
the daemons inside that I tried to fight.

I had the motivation, and the desire to overcome.

After awhile,
this flower began to die,
The darkness taking over,
I slowly lost my light.

I lost my drive, my fire...

I spend days worrying about things,
So unbelievably trivial,
So unacceptably useless,
So unbearably small....

and I'm stuck.
and things will get better?

You should like who you are,
unless the world likes something else.

Kind of down tonight, Working on too many things internally, not producing enough externally.
My apologies.

Things get better depending on yourself. This life is one colossal choice. Fare well.
Well done.
