Daydreaming

Daydreaming

A Poem by ExposedSiren
"

Working on imagery, just fun thoughts of today.

"
Sometimes, in the shower I close my eyes,
and sit in a Rain Forest as a storm is raging by..

Sometimes, when I cry, I tilt my head and imagine
a stream, rushing down it, mountains surrounding.

Sometimes, in the rain, I look up and see sparkling
Meteors, crashing down all around me.

My shouts strike across the room as lightning bolts crash across the sky.

My whisper swims over our blankets as two foxes running off in the moonlight.

My sighs come out in puffs of pixie dust, highlighting a summer's afternoon.

The wind whips across my skin, pushing through my wings, lifting me slightly.

Its hard to remember this Reality, when I have so many of my own to choose from.

I love this poem :) It's beautiful and awesome when we can find the extraordinary in the everyday... reality is kinda overrated.
