Hey you

Hey you

A Poem by EyeM_E

Never one for words.
To tell a lie, so quick to reply.
You can hide behind your selfish mask
so easily until the day that lightning strikes.
Hear the crash?

No remorse and guiltless trips.
I hope to find you buried in it.
Your twice told tale between your legs.
Your distended head with a pin to it next.

Never one for words.
To tell the truth, I always do.
I hide behind my innocent eyes
regretfully until the day that thunder sounds.
See the light?

Nothing is free.
Even your soul has a price.
Your debt is building up
every time you roll the dice.
Your rabbit out of the hat trick
won't save you this time.

I'm calling you out.
