The Morning Wilderness

The Morning Wilderness

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver

"

      The sun rises up anew,

           waking everything to life.

      Opening up harmonious melodies,

           with the earth's wondrous music.

Raw beauty is reborn with this day,

destined to die with the sun.

But for now it is too young to know this,

           and simply shines in glory.

      A rich and refreshed paradise,

          resurrected after the fallen dew.

      Our own special utopian home,

          remade with each dawn.

You chose such vivid presentation of words to your lines to show an excellently written image. It gave me the sense of serenity. Everyday is a new day and each time we wake to the sun rising is a moment for a fresh start and happy awakening. Amazing piece.

Splendid read and write. It is the little things in life that bring joy and reveal the bigger picture.
