Wilderness

Wilderness

A Poem by WILDERNESS

Don't want to be in a garden
it only has flowers
Don't show me the orchids
fruits are all it has
Don't take me to  the fields
golden harvest is not for me
Don't send me to pastures
open fields i may not see
I want to be in the wilderness
to the heart of nature
to the core of life
where all things run wild
where all things grow togather
thorns, flowers and weeds
As they are meant to be
Wilderness is home to beings
wilderness is no one's steed
wilderness is where streams flow
wilderness is where ravines go
wilderness is where you get lost
wilderness is where you find your soul
Don't take me to a garden, pasture or field
I want to be wild; wilderness is where I'll be
