Night and Day

Night and Day

A Poem by Crazy Claire
"

I trusted you...

"
Protest as I may,
Night will always
Go to day.
And you may be stronger
But I can't hold back
Much longer.
There is this sixth sense
That will keep me
On defense.
My skin is coated with ink
And I will try my best
Not to blink.
Now I watch you close your eyes
While a little more of
My soul dies.
I tried letting you go
I never guessed you would sink
Quite so low.
I'm trying, I'm running!
But your vicious ideas
Were much too cunning.
I'll crawl back to you once more,
But now you've become
This scary little w***e.
I trusted you with my fears
Which have grown deeper
Throughout the years.
I really fought with all my might,
But as hard as I tried,
I couldn't turn day back to night.
