Midsummer

Midsummer

A Poem by Faeralyn

Gnarled oaken limbs of old

Honeysuckle air

Drops of wonder in the space

Faery glimpses, through the leaves

Processions of fire

Dance on Gaia’s earthen path

Litha! cried the old dryads

Intoxication

By way of spirits

Most potent essence,

of whimsicality.

These words are a magical path that takes what seems like fairy creatures of earth and
azure existence, elsewhere, unknown, to a quiet place here only the sounds of their wings
are humming as they're hovering, gathering beauty for their mother sky-
the creatures below.
Amazing, this poem that sounds like a fairy tale.
You are so imaginative and descriptive. The picture you paint, they seem to have 'elf' ears.
The words are very light and airy, a hand despondent with nature in universe, in harmony.
