Just to be
Like a tree-

Leaves fluttering
Free-

Flying

Sighing

In the breeze-

Oh the simplicity
Of the tree-

Forever grounded
Never bounded

Roots deep
Downward-

Spirit free

A lesson to be
Learnt
For you
And
Me .

And we would have the added bonus of being completely unaware of those pesky humans...at least the ones without chainsaws.
giving shade to the weary, home to birds and wildlife, plus being connected to the rhythm of life...sounds like a good deal to me, where do I sign up?

Trees can teach you a lot. A tree full of fruits always bow down which means a person with a lot of qualities should be meek and not boastful. I like your work! Really we need to learn more and more from our nature.
