I waited long
I waited late
For
The sake

I wondered if you
Would call
Or did you feel

Into a place
And lose the race
The race of love
Unknown and out
Of proportion
Blown

I waited
My heart
Anticipated
For you to call
To come visit

That knocking sound
Upon my door

The music played
The fire it burnt

I wasted time

I watched the clock

Sometimes it is better to move on, it can be agonising waiting and as you get older time becomes more important. Sad lines here Kelly.
