Streams
Running so
Deep

Defeat

The pain you
Keep

But love and harmony
You seek-

Oh the pain
Of this
Solid
Heartbeat

Where truth
And harmony
Collide
Causing a deep
Ravine
And divide

Oh how my heart
Cries-

Time it tries
To materialise
The truth
Of the thoughts
The things sought
But
It’s nought

A battle fought

Caught
We capture
Our own
Mishap
A fleshy
Trap

Remove the self
Put your heart
Back on the shelf

A sign on the door-
‘Available Nomore’

No matter what
They adore

Streams running deep
Forevermore

Tears

Removing heart
From the deep

Silent secrets
They do keep

Where and what
Is it
That you seek?

oh man, i have gone through this Kelly....putting my heart back on the market...but removing the emotions....keeping those sealed in a leak proof can...
and removing the self...keeping it on the shelf...
not so good for the other person who is trying to love us....

I know...but how do we love again if we can’t see the love through the fear and heartache ...does Time really heal..I guess it just helps us deal with the pain but it never truly goes away🌹

in a way, i have found it does...but love is always given with reserve....i really let go once...all of me...but not again....always will be a part of me held back...but you ask a valid question...maybe for each of us, the answer is different.
