Oh so heavenly

Than I could
Ever have
Dreamed,
So distant
Did it
All seem,
Until
Little by little
Did the feelings
Become a
Flowing stream-
A river
Of peace,
Fulfilling
And complete-
Not
Having to
Compete
With the
Churning of the
Ocean deep-
Within my soul
Did you
Creep,
For my heart
You will
Always keep-

It all began
With
Your touch-
And then
It was all
Enough-
There was nothing
To tough,
Everything was
Carried
On the
Wings of
The dove-
Together with
And full
Of
Love.

I love how this could be written about a bunch of possibilities . . . the way a person gets under our skin, the way a slow surrendering of the spirit can feel, the way we can begin to feel more connected after feeling disconnected for too long . . . on & on.
