Prologue

Prologue

A Story by Saul
"

Just a short prologue for a story I'm working on.

"
Here I am.  A man with nothing to lose and too much time on his hands. I'm aware it sounds like a cliche, but it couldn't be farther from the truth. Before I used to be THE guy. Either you rooted for me, or you jeered and hoped that I'd choke. Now, I'm not THE guy. I'm A guy. No more "Who will dethrone him?" No more "Can anybody stop him?" Not even a "Can he redeem himself?" The spectacle was finally over.
"Sweep 3 tournaments, and unable to make it to the final 8 of a league?" I can hear them say.
"What a disappointment." I can hear them sigh,
"Fahklett lost PBL." With that, I sleep.
