LIFE AND THE WORLD

This is a poem addressed to contemporary man.

The pleasure of soul is to remain here, 
But another world is waiting there. 
In time we just don't care, 
We forget what we have to fear. 


It was told for parents to care, But we gave them sorrows without fear. 
They always make our sorrows share, 
We go on making their joys spoil mere. 


It was told to help the poor, 
But we defile every hour.
It was told to help the needy,
But we tend to become greedy. 


It was told to remember the God,
But we go on praising the fraud. 
It was told to avoid haraam, 
But we don't care, OH! followers of Islam. 


All have to leave and have to face death threatful, 
But those would be succeed who are grateful. 
In the race of materialistic world, 
Life of people became curled. 


Despite the fact to demarcate colour and creed, 
Still the lord makes the feed.
They can't realize till they die,
For they face God- become shy. 


Running towards heaven and hell, 
Man began his religion to sell.
No more space for sins now left here, 
Thought of sins are everywhere. 


World is nothing but a field to pray, 
But we forget the creator day by day. 
Nothing is lost, Faisal, you can recover, 
As blessings of God are everywhere.
