The Glory of Adventure

The Glory of Adventure

A Poem by Asmus Green
"

A poem I wrote for in a story a long time ago. Thought I would try and redo it a little.

"

A man asks for glory, you do not ask how he finds it,

but rather when he is ready to leave and get it.

A man asks where one goes,

you answer him either to claim glory or to take him with you.

A man asks why you leave home and would love to see yourself in a glorious light. You answer him: That one either leaves to travel or stay home and forget.

The one who doubts is not fit for travel.

And the one who travels is too busy for doubt.
