Just one touch

Can bring back so much.

Of how we spend long hours

On a hill.

The constant angelic voice

That came from the mouth

Of the guy I shared my world with.

 

You knew I was weird,

You loved me still,

You knew I wasn't the same

As all the other girls,

You still stayed.

 

It's all I could've asked for,

You to stay by my side.

Love me for as long

As you possibley could.

 

I'm sorry,

It was my fault,

I'm the one who messed it up.

Nothing to do with you,

All you did was love me,

I got scared,

I'm sorry.

 

I moved on,

But you still own my heart,

I don't understand how that works,

But hey, it's me...

You know me.

 

It's harder to deal with things

Now you're not mine.

But I can do it.

 

As long as you're happy...

Hard to be close and still care for another. Take a strong person with great strength and heart. I like the kind story in the poem. I like the positive ending. I like the honest words and enjoyed the outstanding poem.

What subtle flow you commenced this piece with my dear...this was truly masterfully done. I like the sentiment in the last line and the rhyme scheme...really hit me as awesome:)
