Heart and mind..

Heart and mind..

A Poem by FaithfullyJennyBear

Her heart is gone now,

Given to him.

The sweet kis upon

The lips of sin.

She knew she shouldn't,

She ignored her mind,

Went along with her heart,

For her heart is not blind.

It saw she cared

Only for him,

To ignore her wishes?

It was a selfless thing.

The guy's a 'badboy'

Into things she dislikes.

But her eyes only open

For heavenly sights.

Her arms around him,

Their hands entwined.

Hoping to never

Go along with her mind.

Great poem and so true. Good girls always go for bad boys.
Nice guys finish last, sad but true. Nice write Jen :)

I really like the flow and the story behind this write. Opposites attract.

Excellent piece of material. The flow is great and the rhyming is spot on. You have a gift for this poetry.

I do like the word choice here. "Lips of sin," "hands entwined." The rhyming feels pretty natural and works well. And this is definitely the reason why those nice guys finish last, obviously!

The people who are wild and crazy. They tempt the souls of the innocence. I like this poem. Easy to fall for something that we know could be trouble. Hard to use wisdom when led by desire and emotion that we can't control. A excellent poem. Thank you.
