what you've done

what you've done

A Poem by FaithfullyJennyBear

I see your face, it kills me inside

the blood drips down my arms

the love I'm letting go of escapes my wrists

and this is what you've done.

My head is messed up

it gets worse when I hear your voice

I hope you know that this is your doing.

I can't breathe when you're around

my lungs freeze up

my heart bleeds with my cuts

I just can't accept the fact you'll never be mine.

The word 'love' escapes your lips

like it's just any other casual meaningless word

but you don't understand it means the world to me

and every breath you take is one less for me.

I disapear from your life.

You've left scars on my heart, my skin, my mind.

I just want to be in your arms again

to feel the warmth of your body

I was your baby, you were my hero.

But it all vanished

I don't think you realize

that this is what has become of me

because of you.

I have return to damage done by me. Made me be kinder. Lies and fake emotion can leave a battlefield that can't be repaired. I like the emotion and the desire of this poem. I could feel a huge sadness and desire to find peace. A strong ending to a excellent poem.
