Loving you the second time around

Loving you the second time around

A Poem by Falcon1
"

Love can be a crazy ultimatum

"
Loving you the second time around

Its been twenty years since our divorce
That sent our lives off course
But here I am Loving you
The second time around it seems was better than before

Word got out and my family screamed and shouted
What the hell are you doing with your life
Forget about that old lady she is not your wife
do you think it will be better the second time around

When the first time your marriage did not get off the ground
Every body thought I was not to serious
That my mind was over cooked and I was delirious
But the second time around just was not twice as nice

For her kisses were not as sweet as wine
And I known it was down hill from there
The joke was on me she really didn't even care
I thought I learned my lessons the first time
But My Dear Loving you the second time around lifted my off the ground

Second times. A dangerous place to attempt. I try a few second times. Too much heavy baggage left over. Thank you my friend for sharing the entertaining poem.

Love is a many dangerous splendid thing.
A mode of operation that carries many unintended consequences to truly wield and yield to it properly one must take care of the expectation it wishes to receive from it.
Love is a many Splendid Dangerous Thing.
