Only A Mother's Love

Only a mother's love 
Can satisfy this beast
For he has bitten off a little
More than he can chew this week

My Mother's Love was pure and simple
She asked me for Respect and Understanding
and I gave to her the works all it could give
I remember Mother she had a mind of her own

She loved to sit and talk and never be alone
She told me my ways were misguided as plain could see
this my dear Friends Scared the hell out of me
For I known Mother's love was simple and free

and not full of anxiety she told me to relax
I will reduce your stress Come and talk with me again
For I want to remind you life was never fair
My Dear child come back to be and lets talk for a little while

Only a Mother's Love could be this natural and wild
When taking the time to talk with her child.
