The Sixth of March

The Sixth of March

A Poem by Falcon1
"

We heard their calling

"
It was the sixth of March
With Irish Eyes a smiling
the Lord turn his Face to thee
Irish People you been blessed by me

So thee Irish arose with a smile 10 feet wide
And with such Irish pride they did not try to hide
and the Lord blessed the Irish again and again
With freckles and red hair and kind smiles

They knew how to get along with their fellow man
Now Irish eyes are Smiling
In New Finland lands
They just came for a visit

From their home lands
Irish eyes are smiling
I heard the old Irish man say
he is a wise old Irish man

Full of good luck and green clovers
The Irish smiles were one of Charlie McCarthy
The puppet the sat on someones lap
and was a joke for a laugh

I love the Irish For I am related by marriage
They are good Catholics
and have 3 wonderful Daughter's
Who throughout my life have made me Good Nieces.

I am so blessed to have them in my life
One is my God Daughter
I treat her special
She deserves it from me.

God Bless her and her family
her three little blessed ones
and a good husband
Darrel he is a class act.
