A Stray Child

A Stray Child

A Poem by Fallenangeljc

Clinging to your lonesome body admist the winter snow,
You stare into glasses among the street, what is it you are looking for?
Are you lost in your way? deep in an ocean's story,
One child admist a faceless crowd...

Do not pity me stranger, I am but only alone,
Isnt it alright to be by myself?
I only have nowhere to go,
So I am a child standing admist a moving world...

Having no smile on your face, lips as red as blood on snow,
You've been standing from morning light to evening's embrace,
Do you understand the feelings of a heart? does it not hurt?
A Child who is no one's heart and soul...

What is a smile stranger? It doesnt hurt not to smile,
I've learnt not to cry anymore, as tears only turn to Ice shards on my cheeks,
Nobody is here stranger, no one at all,
I have no reason to have a heart and soul...

Do you not remember? your memories to lead you back...
You havent said a word to anyone, not even a whisper
The night is turning harsh to Winter's freezing touch,
A Stray Child...

I have a memory stranger, of a warm hand leaving mine
I need not have a voice, the world around me is drowned in their own sound,
I do not fear Winter's freezing touch, as my heart is already frozen,
I am not a stray stranger, I'm just alone...

Stranger, would you come to me?
Have you heard my voice?
Have you seen my tears?
Have you felt my heart?

Stranger...save me...
