A Poem by Follan

There were 9 elves,
One was missing a soul,
One was missing his legs,
One lost her hand,
One lost his mind,
But as elves they were bestowed a gift,
To make one wish,
One said I want my soul back,
The other his legs,
Then her hands,
The last said nothing and kept his wish secret.....
Then after an eon they were asked to come back,
The elves were asked about their new life,
One said I.... love it,
They all agreed except the last,
He said , are you truly happy?
they all glared,
Aren't you curious about the wish I made ?
Snowflakes repeated,
The fire melted,
He answered I wished to learn how to live without my mind....
All was quite...
The end...
So remember children there were not 9 but 8 elves....
